Sometimes when it comes to our health, we may say that because it is our bodies we can eat how we want, not exercise, smoke, and the list goes on. When sickness comes due to our intentional neglect of healthy lifestyle habits, family members and close friends sacrifice their time and help us in something that could have been avoided. Our “me” type of thinking ends up being other people’s issues. We may forget that our bodies are God’s temples and not ours.

1 Corinthians 6:19 says , “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

While car accidents and other unexpected things may happen in our lives and may cause us to need help from others, some things can be avoided when we stop thinking only about us. No man is an island. We are all a team and when one falls there will be friends and family to help us up. We want to be able to help others that do not know about God’s healthy living guidelines.

Let us stop thinking of ourselves and start thinking about others, because there are many people that are sick who do not realize all the harm they may be causing their bodies. We can reflect God by having a healthy lifestyle and teach others, to help hasten His coming.

May God continue to bless and keep us today. God is good ALL the time AND He’s coming soon. I can’t wait! Are we ready?

    Part III

Some people believe that the mark of the beast is a chip, implant, tattoo, and the list goes on, but the reality of it is that it all boils down to worship. Who will we give our allegiance to? Back in the Garden of Eden, God instituted the 7th day Sabbath. Keeping in mind that Satan divided heaven with his lies, he also wants to make sure many people will not make it to heaven. He wanted to be like the most high in heaven. Now he wants our worship.

Revelation 13:15, 18 says,  “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Satan wants our worship. God created the 7th day Sabbath to worship Him and Satan did the opposite and changed it to Sunday. Many people believe that today is God’s holy day and worship on this day. Throughout the bible, we see the Sabbath mentioned over and over, but nowhere in the Bible is Sunday mentioned as the Sabbath. Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, which was Sunday. He rested on the 7th day Sabbath. Satan has deceived many to believe that today, or Sunday is God’s holy day.

Thank God that the mark of the beast is not here yet. We will know it is here when we are forced or caused to worship ( Revelation 13:16 ) on Sunday and not on the 7th day Sabbath.

Let us give our worship to God on His holy Sabbath. When the mark of the beast comes, let us continue to give our worship to our creator, God.

May God continue to bless and keep us today. God is good ALL the time AND He’s coming soon. I can’t wait! Are we ready?

Many times when we go out to get exercise, we put on sunglasses to keep the sun out of our eyes. In our best effort to keep out the sun, we are denying ourselves of the UV rays that stimulate the production of vitamin D, something that many people are deficient in. Almost all glasses or contact lenses block out UV rays that are blocking out that extra benefit of the sun through our eyes. The sun also helps with our sleep cycle. While UV rays are absorbed through our skin, we also get it through our bare eyes.

“Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.” Ecclesiastes 7:11

“Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:” Ecclesiastes 11:7 Of course, we know not to look directly at the sun, being temperent in all things including sun exposure, and only at appropriate times when we take off the glasses or contacts for vitamin D production. We may also in our best efforts to serve God, block out His full benefits by the entertainment we have. The Bible is clear that everything we do must glorify God. We all want God’s full benefit, so let’s put away the entertainment that’s causing a barrier.

    Our Friday thought.

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy”. Exodus 20:8 Sometimes in our best efforts to worship God, we stop at this verse and say we are remembering the Sabbath, but as we read on, we clearly see what day is defined as the Sabbath and how it should be kept. Verses 9-11.

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14

Let’s not block out the blessing of making it to heaven by intentionally following a day of worship that is not found in the bible. Thank God it’s almost the Sabbath. May God continue to bless and keep us today. God is good ALL the time AND He’s coming soon! I can’t wait!  Are we ready?
